Things to Do

This is a place for simple, memorable outback experiences: a walk, a sunset, a quiet drink, and a sky full of stars.

Slow down and get the most out of the country.

Station Walks

We have four mapped walks that head in different directions so you can experience different parts of the station landscape. Maps are available from the office. Scroll down for an interactive map.

Stargazing and Night Skies

With minimal light pollution, Fraser Range is a great place to step outside after dinner and enjoy the night sky. Bring a torch, warm layer (even in summer nights can cool down), and take your time.

Photography and Nature Watching

The woodland setting, granite hills and seasonal colour make this a sought after stop for photographers. Early morning and late afternoon are best for soft light and wildlife activity.

Nightly campfires (when permitted)

Gather around our protected fire pit to unwind in the evening. Grab a drink from the Nullabar or bring your own, share a story and meet fellow travellers.
